Our story
Why we started Imara
Too much software is built for fast internet, credit cards and a single language, and that leaves many people out. Imara started to build tools that fit: apps that keep working offline, accept mobile money and speak English, French, Swahili and Kirundi.
Today we build our own products, from health to retail, education and payments, and we help other businesses and organisations build theirs.
